Rhonda Penson is, first and foremost, a devoted Christian who loves God with all her heart. Now retired, she has had an impressive career as a Licensed Nuclear Control Operator, Operations Procedure Writer, and Operations Instructor — a testament to her discipline and dedication.
A lifelong learner and adventurer at heart, Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Elon College in Burlington, NC. She has always had a love for discovery — collecting fossils, coins, and rare finds that tell a story of the past. Outside her professional life, Rhonda is an avid animal lover and proud “dog mom” to Lil Tink, her 9-year-old Maltese. She enjoys sports, especially soccer and college football, and spent her college years playing volleyball and tennis.
Rhonda’s passion for teaching shines through her faith. She has taught Children’s Church and was honored as Sonbeam Teacher of the Year for two consecutive years. Through her writing, she hopes to share messages of God’s love, purpose, and the beauty of being created just the way we are.
